Philadelphia

Dean and I went to Philadelphia Friday afternoon to visit with our friends Kristin and Tyler.  Geno spent the weekend at his Aunt Mandy's house with his cousins, Andrew and Aiden.  We got the chance to go to IKEA.  Dean and I had never been there.  It was a little overwhelming but we loved it!  We got some lamps and a couple things for the nursery.  We went to the casino for a little bit and had some great meals out with our friends.

This picture was taken with the self-timer setting on my camera.  We were about to head out to Ruth's Chris for a wonderful steak dinner.

Immediately after this picture was taken, I went to check my camera to see how it turned out.  I wiped out!  I had socks on and slipped on the hardwood floor.  I'm ok and Baby is ok.  I landed on my bum and hit my shin on a piece of furniture and now have a large bruise.  Ouch!

26.5 weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 26.5 Weeks
Size of Baby: According to BabyCenter.com Baby Morrow is about two pounds and measures 14 inches from head to heel-- about the size of an English hothouse cucumber.
(via)

Maternity Clothes: LOVING my maternity clothes.  Just got a bunch for the fall from Kohls.com that I love.
Gender: It's a... SURPRISE!  We did not find out the gender of our little nugget.  What are your guesses?
Movement: Baby likes to kick and roll around at bed time and when I wake up.  Although, I can feel it throughout the day too.  It's the best feeling ever!  Dean started to be able to feel the kicks a couple weeks ago.  Super fun!
Sleep: Aside from getting up two or three times a night to go to the bathroom, I'm sleeping pretty well.  I just got a Boppy pregnancy pillow that I'm enjoying.
Cravings: I am LOVING peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!  Also, peanut butter on toast for breakfast with a side of chocolate milk.  Yum!
Symptoms: Just lots of kicks and a growing belly

Best Moment this week:  Having the nursery painted and getting the furniture in there.  It's looking so cute!

Halfway to baby!

I'm a couple days late but am super excited to be halfway through this pregnancy! We had our anatomy scan at 19 weeks 2 days. Baby looked strong and is growing wonderfully. We did not find out the gender. We are super excited for our little surprise in early December.

I'm spending the week down in Myrtle Beach, SC with Mom and Mary. Dean had a week of training in Baltimore so I tagged along with them. We are having a great time laying by the pool and going to the beach.

Baby Morrow

Dean and I are so excited that Baby Morrow will be making his or her appearance in early December! We can't wait!!

My mom made me this wall hanging for the nursery. It's done in Very Hungry Caterpillar fabrics because that is the theme of the nursery.

The other picture is Baby at our 12 week check-up.

Mr. Luke

Introducing my new nephew...

Luke Thomas
February 11, 2012
8lbs 2oz, 21 inches long

He is just adorable and I can't wait to get my hands on him on Friday!! :)

Shirts for my nephews

It's not new news that I adore my nephews. I love making them personalized shirts. These are some that I made for Andrew and Aiden a few weeks ago. Andrew's isn the left- he loves dinosaurs. Aiden's is on the right- he loves all sports and balls (football and soccer balls are his favorite).

I have some onesies that I made for sweet baby Luke. I can't show you the onesies because I haven't given them to Luke yet and Sara hasn't seen them. ;) We are headed south to Tennessee to see Nate, Sara and baby Luke on Friday. I'm sure I will be taking many pictures of that little babe.

I have been taking a lot of pictures with my new DSLR Camera and also my iPhone that I need to share. I need to get better about updating the blog.
