12 Months!

I still need to write up Ethan's 12 month update but for now, please enjoy the pictures from the photo shoot!

11 months :-)

9/23 clicks his tongue and thinks he is hilarious

Waves hi and bye

Cruising around the furniture and stands for a second or two before sitting back down

10/1 lowered crib

Loves his cheerios!

10/1 stopped nursing. Thought it was a nursing strike but he just never went back.  He had been biting and then just refused to latch at all.  We tried giving him breast milk in a bottle but he would not take it. He started taking the breast milk in silly cups with straws.

Sippy cups of milk four times a day

2 naps a day

Sleeping 10-12 hours at night. 

Dances when he hears music.  Loves the song "Brave" by Sara Bariellis. 

Signs "all done" after meals and milk cups

10/11-12 met Great Grandma Sylvester in Pittsburgh.  Also met cousin Maggie, Uncle Rick, Uncle Tommy, Great Great Aunt Christine and Great Great Uncle Merle. 

Loves American cheese and strawberries

10/14 started introducing organic cows milk and milking 1oz in with his breast milk

We went to me pumpkin patch with Aunt Mandy, Uncle Mike and cousins Andrew, Aiden and Matthew. 

10 Months!

Loves Cheerios during the day in his snack cup. During this month, he started to be able to use it correctly. Also, loves goldfish in the snack cup

Washington, D.C. trip to visit the Edkins family. Lily is only 5 days younger than Ethan. We spent a day at the zoo. 

Pittsburgh trip for Grandpap's birthday (9/6-8).

 Wearing 6-9 month clothes and some 12 month jammies. 

Size 3 diapers

Nurses 4-5 times a day and takes 2 naps a day. 

Sleeps 7:30pm-5am (ish) wind nurses then goes back to sleep until 7:30 or 8am

Can crawl up the stairs

Eats a lot of table food, pouches of puréed fruits and veggies, puffs, cheese puffs, strawberries, pears, peaches 

9/8 Ethan's 5th tooth cut through

Really loves Geno. We are trying to teach him to pet nicely and not pull his hair. 

9/10 started waving

Gives kisses to Mommy and Daddy. Also gives high 5s.

Loves the book "Goodnight Moon" at bedtime. 

9/20 waved bye bye to Bubbeh and Daddy. 

3/4 of a year!

I am so very late I'm writing this post. Ethan will be 10 months old on Sunday (mom fail).  

This age has been so much fun!  Ethan is crawling around like a maniac and his personality has been cracking us up!

- 9m clothes, size 3 diapers

- 2 naps a day and bed around 7:30
- Nurses 4 times a day. Once at night.  Sometimes wake between 4-5am nurse the go back to sleep until 7ish.

- Snotty nose this month :(
- Grandma, Aunt Kate and Aunt Mary babysat while we went to Aunt Allison's 30th bday party. Everyone had fun until bed time. Wouldn't take a bottle so I had to come home and nurse E and put him o bed. Then I went back to the party. Luckily he didn't make a peep until morning.

He spotted Daddy coming up the stairs!

Bribery with Cheerios :)

- Cruising all over the place
- Pulling up on everything
- Trying lots of new foods. Egg (8/18) no reaction!! Little nervous because cousins Andrew and Aiden had milk and egg(aiden still has) allergies.

- Weekend with mommy while daddy went out if town
- New stroller [chicco echo] we love it!

8 months

Our little dude will be 9 months old next week.  

So, here are his 8 month shots and stats!

-Wearing 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers

-Transitioned to 2 naps a day

-Nursing every 3-5 hours

TEETHING!!!

He has two bottom teeth

-Crawling everywhere!

-Started pulling himself up (6/25)

-Goes from crawling into a sitting position (7/20)

-Zips and zooms around the kitchen in his walker (7/5)

-Ethan claps ALL THE TIME!! (7/3)

-Gives high-5s (7/15)

He's a little fish...

-loves the splash park, baby pool on our deck and swimming at Aunt Judy's

Ethan's new foods:

watermelon, cantaloupe, strawberries, yogurt, yogurt melts, shredded cheese, baby cheetos, and the purees in the pouches.

Transitioned to the big boy tub in Ethan's bathroom.  No more sink baths in the kitchen!

I decorated his bathroom in a rubber duck theme.  It's quacktastic!

We celebrated the 4th of July at Aunt Judy and Uncle Denny's house.  We had a yummy picnic and went swimming.  We didn't stay for fireworks.

We went to my mom's house in West Virginia for "Camp Grammy."

We had a great weekend visiting with family.

Ethan used his booster chair for the first time and did great sleeping in the pack and play.
