We were out Christmas shopping and took 

a picture of ourselves at a red light!

I love it.

 Amanda and I hosted a "31 gifts" party at the beginning 

of the month and this is one of the bags I got.  It's so cute.

Dean and I made about a million cookies yesterday.

Actually just 25 dozen.  No big deal.

We made:  

--Cocoa kiss cookies (pictured above)

-- Chocolate chip

-- Butterscotch/Oatmeal

Got my nails done today and had the lady 

paint little snowmen on them.

The red color is called "Dear Santa."  I was feeling festive today.

I was at Kohl's the other day and these ornaments were on super sale.

I love putting our initials all over the house.

We were getting some family shots taken with Dean's sisters and 

their families a few weeks ago and the photographer 

snapped some great ones of Geno.  We sure do love that little guy.

Stockings!

Mom and Kate came to visit this weekend and we designed our stockings. Now I am outlining everything in black using the sewing machine. I will quilt them this week and Mom will help finish them this weekend. She and Mary are coming for my thirty-one party.

Philadelphia

We went to visit friends in Philadelphia last weekend. We brought Geno with us too. They have a Welsh corgi named Harley that Geno loves! We went to the dog park with the pups. Harley loved it but all of the big dogs freaked Geno out. He ended up picking fights and had to stay on his leash. Dumb dog.

We also went to the casino. I ended up winning big! I won on the $1 slot machines and playing roulette with Dean. I made enough to fund my trip to Hawaii in February to visit my friend Jenny!!

Shutterfly

It is safe to say that I LOVE CHRISTMAS CARDS!!  I love taking the pics for them, creating them and most importantly receiving them!  During the Christmas season checking the mail is a highlight of my day!

We went to see Toy Story 3 on Ice on Wednesday. It was so cute and awesome!

Long overdue visit!

My good friend Jenny was in Harrisburg this week with her husband and kiddos. So I went to visit today! We went to LHU and student taught together. She has since moved back to her hometown in Hawaii! I wish we could see each other more often. Hopefully a trip to Hawaii is in the near future. Her babies are precious. Kylee is 20 months and Mason is almost 3 months old. Stinkin cute!

'Work Trip'

Just received this from the hubby. Caught an 11 pound fish!

Best. Chili. Ever.

I am not a chili person but I LOVVVVE this stuff!  Even Miss Mary likes it so I made it for her birthday.  It is in the crock pot right now and Geno and I are headed to West Virginia this afternoon and taking it with us.  Here is a sneak peak!

Dean is on a "work trip" until Monday evening way down south in Mississippi.  Which means he is with the men he works with and they are fishing, gambling, golfing and fine dining.  The wives are jealous for sure.  Sunday they are going to the New Orleans Saints football game and have seats on the 50 yard line-- tough break.

Geno's friend

Geno is on a wheat and corn free diet. So I have to get special organic treats from Petsmart. After he does his business outside he runs upstairs and waits near his treat jar. Well we ran completely out the other day so Geno and I went on a little trip go the store. He picked out this little friend. His name is Henry the Hippo! It was love at first squeak!

Adventures in Babysitting

I babysat Andrew and Aiden today. I took them to McDonald's for lunch. Andrew loves a good happy meal! Aiden hung out in his carseat and had sweet potatoes. We had a lot of fun!

New Look

I hope you like the new look of my blog. It is getting chilly out and it was definitely time to make my blog ready for the fall.

Last weekend Dean and I went to Pittsburgh to see a Pitt football game. We arrived Friday night at our friend Bowser's house. We got changed and went to dinner at a Tapas bar. It was so fun! You order a bunch of different tapas (like appetizers) and share everything. We hung out the rest of the night. Saturday we went to the Pitt football game. We picked up Anna and her friend and headed out to Heinz field. We tailgated with a co-worker of Dean's (he also gave us the tickets). Anna and her friend were just going to tailgate since they didn't have tickets to the game. Someone ended up having extra tickets so they did get to come! We had club seats and had an awesome time!!
